There's another emergency vehicle in singer-songwriter Deano Yipadee's garage. This time it's a tow truck called Toot, who is always ready when a friend is broken down or stuck in muck.
Granny's goats have been joy-riding on Farmer Tom's tractor when they get themselves in a bit of a pickle. With the tractor stuck in a pond, and the goats up a tree, Nee Naw quickly appraises the situation. While he can rescue the goats he must call upon his friend Toot to come and pull out the tractor.
The latest in the Nee Naw and Friends series, this is another high-energy picture book from Yipadee. With an easy-to-sing melody and catchy refrain, it will have little readers hooked.
Illustrated by Bruce Potter, it bursts with colour and action. The characters are memorable and there's plenty of detail to amuse and entertain.
Yipadee is sure to include a simple, yet important message, within his Nee Naw series. This book is no different, with the theme of teamwork, appreciating each other's strengths, and helping others to the fore again.
Toot is an exciting new character and his story features another rollicking rescue that will delight younger readers.
