The first book in The Antique Hunter’s series was a runaway success, and the new book is just as fabulous!
Resourceful Freya and her flamboyant Aunt Carole are called on to investigate a missing painting from a maritime museum, with a dead body found nearby.
Their sleuthing prompts them to join a glamorous antique sailing cruise in the Red Sea in Jordan. They soon find that the ship’s art gallery is filled with many stolen antiques, all of them listed in Freya’s late mentor’s journals. Their chase for a missing painting turns deadly when they discover the dangerous art trafficker, The Collector, is on board. Can they stop his murderous intentions before the ship docks?
Freya and her Aunt Carole are once again the stars of the novel, with a bit of love interest thrown in with the inclusion of a handsome FBI art investigator. There is action, adventure, the glamour of an exciting cruise and loads of precious antiques discovered in the midst of this murky art underworld.
A perfect cosy crime for fans of the Antiques Roadshow TV show.
