Plant-Based Goodness by Tracey Bennett

Tracey Bennett is a busy plant-based, wholefood chef, mother and grandmother who brings valuable life experience to this inspiring and practical cookbook. Over 90 of Tracey’s favourite recipes feature, and they are all delicious and easy to make. It’s clearly created with love and bursts with goodness and healthy vitality. It's a keeper for any family keen on tasty meals that are nutritious and uncomplicated to make.

Tracey shares her personal journey with food, including the moment when she discovered she was dairy intolerant after having had a love affair with all things cheese. Once she had recovered from the shock, she embraced a plant-based wholefood way of eating, and she’s never looked back.

Recipes that stood out for our family are:

  • Sweetcorn and Zucchini Fritters – these are completely delectable, just as Tracey promises!

  • Moroccan Carrot Soup – the Moroccan spices make this so delicious!

  • Easy Chickpea, Potato & Spinach Curry – this one is definitely a family favourite already.

  • Lentil Bolognese – such a great dish, the old classic spaghetti Bolognese, just without the mince.

  • Marvellous Mushroom Risotto – mushrooms have never tasted better.

  • And for something sweet, you can’t go past the Raw Chocolate Macaroons.

One of the things I love about Plant-Based Goodness is the realness of the entire production. It features food and people that look vibrant and real, not photoshopped and fake. This cookbook is fresh and fabulous.
