Craveworthy Baking by Danielle Cochran

For anyone who is dairy or gluten intolerant, having your cake and eating it too is sometimes just too difficult. But in Craveworthy Baking, author Danielle Cochran (The Salty Cooker) has come to your rescue with this attractive cookbook. She spent years and years adapting recipes so they work without dairy or gluten – so this is a collection of her best recipes.

Danielle covers everything from cookies and cars to pies and pastries, muffins and savoury breads and everything in between. There are so many great recipes in this book, but here is just a taste:

Hummingbird Cake. It has delicious sweet and salty flavours with bananas, pineapple and cinnamon and nutmeg spices.

Red Velvet Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting. Danielle says this was one of the hardest recipes to make gluten and dairy-free, but she has nailed it!

Sticky Date Pudding. I see what Danielle says about this being a dessert that is difficult to have self-control around.

Black Forest Mini Cheesecake Bites. A brilliant combination of cherries and chocolate.

Peach Cobber. A true classic, now gluten and dairy-free.

French Vanilla Scones. The vanilla in this recipe is the star.

The photography is mouth-watering, and the recipes are easy to follow. This is a must-have for anyone who cannot have gluten or dairy in their diet.
